Here is the entire email thread from her first email to me in the order they came and were responded to, after my attempt to cancel and reschedule her massage and the final result.
The only reason this escalated is because of the intitial review she left for me on Yelp and how dishonest it was, she has changed her review over 9 times to date.
I honestly believe Amanda orchestrated this to leave a bad review and "Tip" about my business on Yelp as she owns a mobile massage business in my area and pays to advertise on Yelp. Here is her "Tip" telling people not to use my mobile massage, go elsewhere, to her perhaps? This by the way is against Yelp policy however Amanda pays for advertising ( I do not) so they say she is entitled to her opinion.
I dont normally give bad tips. I was so excited for my massage and she flaked. Go elsewhere. Kim had a horrible attitude and doesn't take responsibility for her actions. Very un professional.
I cancelled a massage because I was sick. She was rude in response and became more and more so. Here is my text to her that morning to the number she provided, incorrect, her own business number by the way.
Please note that the only phone number she gives in her first email is this incorrect number. Then she gives me a completely different number in the following email. I had texted her when I realized I was ill first thing in the morning. Amanda is the one not taking responsibilty for her actions and mistakes.
Also she suggested I had called to cancel, still the incorrect number and I would not have reached her. The other 5 clients were very understanding and kind and we rescheduled.
Her response to me being sick was "From one business woman to another, if you request a strict 24 hour cancellation policy from your clients, it is just as important for you to uphold the same policy." Yes my response "Next time I'll get a psychic to tell me I'm going to be sick 24 hrs ahead of time." was silly but honestly how does one know you will be sick in advance? I wasn't being nasty I thought that her suggestion was/is ridiculous. Her next response was to threaten me with a bad Yelp review and tell Groupon how bad her experience with me was?!
So, here is the email thread, and yes she owns her own mobile massage business. Amanda is lying on Yelp. You can see on my other page Amanda D.'s previous Yelp review. I did not copy all of them because she was changing them so often.

I emailed you last night at 10:17 in response to your 10:01 email. I offered you what I had available at that time. Last night another client responded and took the 27th at 2:30. I get a lot of emails all day so I cannot go back to each one, remembering what that person asked for, and tell people what has booked.
I am extremely lucky to be as busy and in demand with returning and regular clients. I will put you in the 6pm slot. For future reference, if you purchased 2 massages, the open slots go VERY QUICKLY on a first come basis, so best to get back to me as quickly as possible. Waiting overnight sometimes means that the slot is gone.

Wow. Was that response necessary? NO it wasn't. It is very unfortunate that you have such an unprofessional attitude. My feedback to groupon will reflect. I will also be sure to leave a review about my experience with you on yelp. Ill be getting my $ back from groupon. I would rather give it to a massage therapist with a little less attitude and a little more professionalism.

And I will post all the last four emails with the text that you say you didn't receive on your cell phone on Yelp in response to your review as well as email it to Groupon, and your response telling me to give 24 hr notice when I get sick. Your response was unprofessional, selfish and rude. I'm sure if you ask someone they will explain how rude that was, but you probably don't care because the works revolves around you.

You shouldn't cancel on a client via text message especially if they haven't responded. It's also unprofessional to just assume your client can receive texts. Sick or not, You should at least make a courtesy call. That would be the right thing to do. Any business owner knows that. So unprofessional.

The problem here Kim is that you just ASSSUMED that I would receive text messages. I never once told you to text me. I specifically said you can call me on my cell.

Yes of course, while I am throwing up I should call to cancel. Seriously, you are so self absorbed. I have been in business 30 years and do most of my business by email and text with no problem. I cancelled 5 sessions today all by text with very important people, celebrities and business owners and they were all fine, except you.
Thank you for your advice, but I will continue doing business the way I have and the way it works best for me.
Please speak with Groupon I have a very strong relationship with them and they know how I do business. I have a 99% rating with them and have sold over 215 massages and 47 training vouchers.
When someone gives me a cell phone yes I assume they get texts because everyone so far has.
You do what you need to do. I have forwarded them all the emails and approved a refund for you.

Funny how unprofessional you are, you don't even admit when you see that you gave me the wrong phone number in your email! So that is why you didn't receive the text and would not have received my call either.
You need to at least be honest and own up to your mistakes.
